Fixing America’s Health Care System

Health care is broken. Why? Overregulation, an opaque market, and government expansions have caused skyrocketing costs that price everyday Americans out of the market.

Unfortunately, radical politicians have used the common anguish over health care reform to prop up one-size-fits-all solutions. Americans do not need another government Band-Aid that creates more dependency—they need real solutions. However, the Right has struggled with advancing reforms that are good policy, good politics, and relevant to voters’ biggest health care fears.

Insurance premiums have doubled since 2013, leaving nearly 30 million Americans remaining uninsured.

The need for affordable health insurance will be greater than ever as Americans’ minds are on the public health crisis and the needs of their families. Here at FGA we’ve found that Americans are most concerned about being surprised by a big bill, facing an unexpected illness, and struggling with rising premiums.
